I know, I know… I’ve recapped our wedding before. Yet here I am, again, being that bride. But I promise I’ll avoid long drawn out paragraphs about “feelings” or “tears of joy”. We got our wedding pictures back last night, so this post will be less talky-talky and more showy-showy.

My bridesmaids, and my gal Emily, who thankfully kept me laughing that morning because I was being way too serious and nervous.

Our ceremony site.

Right after the ceremony.

Seriously, I was so nervous and excited after the ceremony I just kept staring at the ground. It wasn’t until we had a moment to ourselves that I got ridiculously excited…

…and ridiculous. One of our first pictures as husband and wife. ROMANCE.

We rented out the top floor of Murphy’s in Old Town for our reception.

Our amazing Best Man, Terry, and the fabulous Matron of Honor, Heidi.

My brother, giving the sweetest speech in the world, in which he said nice things about me and threatened Patrick bodily harm if he screwed up. Feel the love.

Yes, those are our awesome “campaign buttons”. We’re a ticket you can believe in! Change! Hope! Etc!

Our event coordinator, contact at Murphy’s, and all around amazing guy, Kenny. Admittedly he had a thick Irish accent which took some getting used to, but he is incredible.

Two of my most favorite people getting low.

The worm!!!

Not only are Danielle and Laura two of my favorite people in general, they’re also my wedding planner and photographer respectively. Love.
So that’s it! It’s a small sampling of our photos, and honestly I had a hard time picking which ones to show off. It’s hard to believe that day was almost two months ago. It seems like we spent so much time anticipating the big day, and in the blink of an eye, it slipped away into our memories.
Neither of us ate enough or slept enough. Some things went wrong. It was so incredibly hot outside, and I am a fall and winter girl. But it was all perfect.
When the night was over, Patrick and I walked hand in hand together down the brick sidewalks of King Street toward our hotel. I don’t even like holding hands, but I did that night. It was a quiet Sunday night. No one was out. It was cool and breezy. The trees lining the street were lit up with twinkle lights. We were a little (very) tipsy. I was barefoot, with my shoes dangling in one hand, and Patrick had his jacket slung over his shoulder. We strolled along together, husband and wife, as if it had always been that way.
As we walked along, Patrick said, “Man, what a great party.”
Looks like I broke my promise about not being mushy and talky-talky. Whoops.
